Ready? Here we go.

Fun and pointless fact: Operation: C.O.W. was always intended to be a sequel of sorts to Spy Gal’s origin, though it was, in fact, written first! Don’t ask me why or how, that’s just how things worked out.

A lot of you were frustrated when Monica just disappeared from the story told in Spy Gal’s Origin and questioned my follow-through. And I agree–it would have been pretty cheap to leave Monica hanging out there with no idea what happened to her afterexiting that hotel room. (Shut up, Mega Matt! Go back in your hole!) But I knew the origin story you’re reading right now was coming and so I kept silent. I hope the reveal has been worth the wait!

I’ll have more to say on this topic after we find out what Monica is up to, but suffice it to say there were a clue laid down that in a past chapter of SF that I don’t think a lot of you picked up on that tells you all you need to know about what happens next. Next week, I’ll identify that clue and link straight to it.
