BACK FROM BALTIMORE!

Oh man, was my weekend great. I’m completely wiped out, but I WILL be filing a full Con report on Thursday with whatever pics I can scare up.  Had a ton of fun meeting and hanging out with the Th3rd World crew and meeting some old and new fans.  Lots to say! Thursday!

NEWEST TALL TALE RADIO INFECTED BY YOURS TRULY

The newest Tall Tale Radio (the very best podcast for webcomic and comic news and interviews, hosted by Tom Racine) is now live–Episode 53, “The Lines in Comedy.” Back in July, Tom, Brian (Dog Eat Doug) Anderson and I talked about the moral responsibilities of the artist and whether there are any lines we should not cross in the pursuit of the funny. It was a fast, informative and thoughtful take on the subject, made only slightly unbearable by my rambling. Give it a listen and weigh in!

DAVID REDDICK STEPS DOWN…

Those of us who know him, know how intensely busy David Reddick is. I was surprised when he volunteered to illustrate a SuperFogeys Origins story for that reason, but he was determined and completely, over-the-moon excited to do it. It is with great sadness that he now has to step aside.  The pressures of his schedule and doing his own comic, The Legend of Bill, must be balanced and I would never ask him to sacrifice those in order to help me and TL out. Good luck, David! When things settle down, I’ll be here, waiting.

…KRISHNA SADASIVAM STANDS UP!

The good news is that Krishna Sadasivam, of PC Weenies and the autobiographical Uncubed, has stepped up to take on the same script I’d written for David, “Spy Gal vs. Star Maiden!” You guys need to check out Krishna’s comics, I’m not even kidding.

Krishna has been doing this comics game for awhile, and he blows amateurs like me out of the water. I’m completely honored to have him on board. Look for the first of his pages to debut on November 3rd. Tell your friends! More details (preview character sketches, Krishna?) to come.
