And here….. He doesn’t say it, but what he’s saying is that he is no good without her. And instead he proclaims and stands by his protest of self. He WON’T be good without her. If he cannot have the woman he loves, then he WILL NOT be the man she loves without her. Yes, this I feel to my core. No man is as bitter and toxicly angry over life as the man who has lost that which makes life worth living….. whatever the cause of its loss. I have had this kind of love. Let him have his love again. One of us needs to.
