Our launching point for this story was the Scott Pilgrim comics. If you’ve read them, you know how kind of insane they are. While I think you can see some traces of that original inspiration (like in the final panel), Alex really took this in his own direction and it just all works beautifully. Thanks for taking this ride with me, Alex! It was a blast.
