Once in a while, I ask Marc to go double-sized (though these days it’s far more common for him to tell me it’s time to go double-sized), and he always delivers. In fact, there’s so much that’s so great about the art in this strip that I didn’t feel like the script really matched it in quality. So, as I sometimes do, I started improvising the dialogue as I lettered it (everything with “Kip” was not in the original script, for example). It’s not quite the “Marvel Method,” but today’s strip is an example of about as close as we ever get.

More important than all of that… for those of you who care and pay attention to such things, I don’t think I’m giving much away when I saw that Alt Thrice is really pointing the way towards the conflict central to the NEXT chapter in this little saga…
