How is it than in one strip I have both my worst and one of my best drawings of Dictator Tot?  I like the idea of what I was going for in the first panel, but I don’t think I pulled it off very well.  Love the drawing of her in the last panel, though I wonder if I should have gone with the original expression that I drew with her tongue hanging out.  Might’ve been funnier.

The Warden continues to be a blast to draw.  Dr. Klein is fun too, but kind of easy to draw.  Nothing wrong with easy, I guess.

Gene’s back story was invented on the fly.  I try not to define my characters too specifically upfront, preferring to let their pasts and personalities emerge as I’m writing.  Not a great way to write every story, but I think it works for this one.
