I was positively knocked out by that first panel. That’s a lot of very tiny characters Marc fit in there, and I can identify all of them. Pretty snazzy.
For those of you just joining us… this what it looks like when it hits the fan. Tangerine, who has repented of his killing ways, has been coerced into taking up his cyber arm once again to take out Zurida, one of the architects of the alien invasion, but who has recently fallen out with Pilatius and Bezuel, the other chief architects. If Tangerine doesn’t kill Zurida, then his sons Captain Emo and Mega Matt die. Standing by with an allegiance in question is Dark Maiden, the evil, insane version of the heroic Star Maiden. Surrounding all of them is the captive Captain Spectacular, Dr. Rocket, Zurida’s aide Sokol, Cap’s ex- and recently resurrected wife Michelle, their son Tom, and Percy, the son of Zurida and Captain Spectacular. Whew.
What’s next? See you on Wednesday.
Reminder! Now accepting submission for Guest Strippin’ Xmas 5!
Just when things were starting to look up…
Tangerine should have read about Ghaffar Khan too.
But Star Maiden and Zurida just had a moment. Like Tangerine stands a chance now.
Dark Maiden is between Tangerine and Zurida. Don’t think he’s gonna get far enough to even grab her head, let alone crush it.
Oh, Pilatius, this isn’t going to end well for you. I’m pretty sure your two soldiers aren’t going to delay Percy for very long. And that’s assuming Zurida just stand’s there and lets Tangerine pop her top. Does she go into some kind of torpor after faking emotion like a alligator after a big meal? She has powers we haven’t seen much of and probably more we’ve never seen. Like when she turned Michelle in a statue. What’s going to stop her from turning Tangerine into the coolest lawn gnome in the galaxy? And that’s if he get’s past Dark Maiden. It also presupposes that Captain Spectacular, would choose to stand by and do nothing at the risk of the extinction of the human species. Zurida had Michelle and Tom as leverage to keep him in check. That of course, also assumes he wasn’t just pretending to submit to her in order to find a way to stop her. CS might be entitled to his retirement, but I doubt even he is just going to stand by and watch Tangerine kill Zurida and allow you to wipe out the human race. There’s also your old nemesis, Dr Rocket. That’s the object of his creepy affections your talking about. And this is the real Dr Rocket, not some hapless mind controlled shape shifter who wouldn’t fight back. All in all, Pilatius, it’s going to be very interesting to see who finally finishes you once and for all.
Andrew, never stop. I continue to love how closely you pay attention and that it’s like you see all possible futures at once. You’ll find out if you’re correct very, very soon.
