Marc knocked me out with the last panel. I’m guessing some of you as well. He’s got a new method for creating the art now, though it’s impossible for any of you to have noticed. Now, instead of roughing things out in blue pencil first, he’s doing his roughs digitally. This allows him to size things up and down and make adjustments more quickly. The pencilling and the inking is still strictly a paper affair, but I think this new method is resulting in better compositions overall. What do you think?
Anybody besides me have a Wii U? My handle is Samaritan. Pass yours along in the comments and we can be friends.
That is probably the most impressive strip I have seen Marc do. It definitely steals the attention.
Jerry went to get help? I’m confused now.
It’s Spy Girl! And she brought people to kill!
Jerry is a complicated fellow.
Is this Jerry realizing that he HAS to do the right thing—damn the consequences! Or another devious, deceptive plot that will make him look like the good guy and—at the same time—take out the two people who know he is a villain?
Yes. No. Maybe?
Brock, ever thought of a career in politics? 🙂
I’ve spoken with many people about just exactly that. Good people. Plumbers and Stay-at-Home Moms. When the time comes, you can bet I’ll do whatever is best for America, whether that’s going into politics or not. Or opening a fruit stand. Let’s hear it for the Fruit Standers of America. That’s a tough job, amiright?
Awe, Sam looks so happy and proud right now. I love the Fly Man, I have dialoge in my head with him saying “Can we drop in on this party too?”
I hope we never, ever see Atomic fly right side up. It would be wrong.
He’s the Spiderman of the Fogey’s Universe!
Nice, now this maybe the start off to a good round 1. 😀
What’s happening to Spy Girl’s right leg?
Mark’s art continues to rock!
Looks to me like Spy Gal is running forward, so the right leg is tucked behind her. Agreed on Marc’s art!
No, no. Her right leg is on our left and it looks… lumpy?
Yeah, that’s the leg I’m talking about. She’s wearing baggy pants and what you’re seeing is her knee and the pants billowing.
Marc, feel free to correct me here.
It looks like she’s wearing black baggy army pants.
Correct!
Thanks for the kind words about the art.
Yes, Spy Gal is wearing baggy military style black cargo pants. Fun Fact: Her look for this chapter is inspired by Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor from ‘Terminator 2’.
Ok. I’m used to seeing her in tights. It threw me.
There are so many holes in that basement’s walls, I wouldn’t want to be hanging out there longer than I have to. Valhalla is going to be one story shorter shortly.
Does Zurida’s hair have any magical properties, or is she just short on hankerchiefs to give her “knight”.
Zurida’s hair is super strong, and she’s the only one who can cut it.
Boom. Straight answer.
Yes, but how does one fingernail make a snip sound?
Cartoon logic dictates a cool sound for important events
