In case you missed it last week…
157% funded! Huge, HUGE thanks to everyone for stepping up and supporting this project! I put the call out and you answered in a big way. Now, I hope we can start making some other cool stuff for you. More details as I know ’em. Talks are already underway.
Today’s strip plays out as animation in my head. Tangerine’s aside, Percy’s dust cloud… I can just see this thing in my head. Can you? I’ll also say that this little group of strips (the few previous and the next few) don’t work very well separately. But, given how big big this story has gotten and how much archive diving goes on around here, I know that’s increasingly less important. I still like to think the strip is accessible, but maybe you’ll say otherwise.
Guest Strippin’ Xmas Four (or is it Five?) is just a few weeks away! I’ll have a more formal blog post up later this week with all the details, but I wanted to give the heads up now so those of you who want to participate can start generating some ideas.
The cloudy-outline-speed-gag…. Always a classic.
I have this feeling Tom is going to be the kink in zuridas plans Percy seems to enjoy the fact of having a brother and with his child like mentality…this should be interesting to see where it goes
It’s like the villain’s beautiful daughter falling in love with one of the heroes and betraying him, only it’s her son reconnecting with his half brother and betrayin him. This is why you should balance out plans to conquer the world with watching movies about people failing to conquer the world.
That’s a good lesson for us all. We do know Zurida watches TV at the very least. Looks like she may not be a cinephile.
Cap’s shadow looks so much badass in the third panel…
Agreed.
Why is Percy so childlike? You would think he would be some hard noised war machine with Zurida raising him.
I think it’s safe to say he’s got a little of his father in him. But, I also think it’s save to say you don’t get to be known as The Setter of Suns without busting a few heads.
