I think I’m gonna write a chapter that takes place entirely in rubble. Marc draws destruction so well. Big kudos to him for the major overhaul to the pacing and storytelling in this strip. Dialogue is the same, but Marc rescued the visual from the abyss I stuck them in with my script.
Big happenings in today’s strip. For your edification, the last time Captain Spectacular saw his son time was right here.
We are less than $1,000 away from the Spy Gal figure stretch goal on the Kickstarter! Expect a (hopefully) major update post right here, tomorrow.
Lets see… We now have Tom who was believed dead seeing Jerry. Jerry who is the thrid man now surrrounded by himself against two superpowered people with issuses (and tom with a jetback).
This has only two way to go down. Either Tom lots the secert out or Perry tells them all that he is with the invasion fleet with his mother who killed Tom’s mother. Either way its going to be good.
But no matter how it shakes down, in the end Jerry can just book through a door to anyplace of his choosing.
Oh boy…..
To be fair, Percy was navigating and the direct route didn’t lead to a door.
That’s true.
This awesome, Jerry has a Oh Crap look on his face.
Can’t wait till next week to see how this plays out guys, two thumbs up.
Thanks, Sam!
The shtick is about to hit the fan.
Dun, Dun, Dunnnnn….. Hold it together Jerry, hold it together. Can’t wait to see Captains reaction to Percy, well of course after we see him wrap up Tom with some good old poppa love.
Absolutely amazing how much is captured in that last panel. Agreed – Jerry’s expression is spot on for the situation – although Cap could be a little more dazed and confused – maybe that’s coming.
Yeah, Marc really composed that last panel perfectly. That said… I love what he did with the last panel in the next strip even more. You’ll see.
I think Percy is going to prove very useful. I mean, Jerry can open a door to anywhere, and Percy seems to be able to blast a door into anywhere.
You can run Jerry. But will you be able to hide??
Easily the most impressive image here is of Jerry’s back muscles.
For an old guy Jerry has stayed in good shape, too bad the Cap’n didn’t he’s going to wish he had soon when the fight starts.
Jerry’s managed to LOOK good. That’s all he’s about. I think, however, that Wilbur is STILL Captain Spectacular. Pot belly and all, he’s more than a match for most of them out there in sheer bad@$$it00D. Reallllly looking forward to when he finally turns about and opens the big can of Wh00pa$$ on the aliens – and especially on the Third/Jerry/Dr/Man/Stein.
And have a nice day, Tangerine. Enjoy the show as you watch everyone you ever cared about get killed or sold into bondage while you cherish your puny little selfish soul by doing nothing.
I half wonder if Marc really exists and, if so, does he just draw himself when he draws Jerry. Because Jerry always looks good. Or maybe Marc is really Brock and Brock just says someone else is drawing SF just in case people don’t like his art. Whatever the case, this is some great work, Marc/Brock/Jerry.
Yay!
… Although Jerry life’s suddenly sucks more! Yay! lol
