Some really cool stuff going on in this one. Besides Marc’s typically great art, check out that trophy room! Ten points to whoever can identify where the items came from.
This chapter is nearing its conclusion… any guesses as to how it will end?

Even better than the trophies: it’s the Muppet Newsman!

Good catch! I thought it was Guy Smiley at first, but Marc set me straight. You got it right off.
Well, I guess that I’ll go for the easy ones. You have a Thrice Evil war banner, and Master Masticate’s mask. No idea for the other two.
Space Pig ship and that big thing is probably from Dr. Rocket.
You’re right, “that big thing” (giant robot head) is from Dr. Rocket. And you’ve seen it before. Anyone know where? It showed up on more than one page.
Take charge, Swifty. You aren’t officially retired until you take off your mask.
Do these guys ever do anything? I mean, they did a stake-out once with Tangerine to capture Dictator Tot, but that’s the last time I’ve seen them do their job.
Tea Time always comes first!!
Indeed! (And no, Scott, they don’t do much.)
Do I spy Jerry behind a news paper?
or comic as it were.
Yeah, from that angle he does look like Jerry, but that’s Black Rain. You’ll see more of him on Wednesday.
Wait.. Miss “I’m going to splice my kids together and take over the world HAHAHAHA!” is on the Hero team?
With a considerably less crushed head than I thought she had when we saw he last…
Of course, her kids a healer…
Ninjalina is a curious addition to the team, but she’s been there since the modern day Society’s first appearance. Safe to say there’s more to her story.
Up to date in reading the main arc now! Love it, as always! Love how Star Maiden coming back “by the power of love” is made fun of rather than taken seriously (which has gotten old/overdone and I am unable to take seriously sometimes). Love the humor of Star Maiden, as always. Can’t believe the Fogeys (except maybe for Swifty) actually think the new Society are competent. Wow! Can’t believe the Healer is a part of the Society! Awesome! Hm… Just realized that the new Society may be a hidden-ish commentary by you, Brock, about the differences in the past generation and current generation in real life. I see it, so I’m sure others do too. Seems like in the past people in America were more about honor and duty and responsibility and doing the right thing, but today’s generation are all about their iPOD and XBOX 360, or many other entertainment options, and being lazy bums who seem to live on a constant diet of over-salted, pre-heated fast food. Or, in this case, tea and comic books it seems, lol. …No commentary? Okay, just checking.
Question: Isn’t that ninja with the pony tail the [deceased] ex-wife of Tangerine? No? Then who is she, exactly? I’ve seen maybe 2 different ninja characters through out the Fogeys continuum. With Mega Matt’s origin, I had thought that the two were one character and I finally learned who that character was, to some small degree, but seeing that character there shows me that there is somehow a second. I know one of them was at one of Cap’s weddings, I think. Which one did we see in each of these cameos and other appearances? Which one is this one?
Well of course the modern generation is useless it’s always been that way. They won’t shape up until the role of leadership is thrust upon them. People usually don’t figure out how to fill their roles until they’ve already adopted them.
At least that’s my take on generational conflict.
The head is from the “clockwork robot” from the first appearance of the “Lodge of Doom” š
