Marc, in case you don’t know, is one of those old fashioned, pen and paper guys. While lots of cartoonists these days are working strictly digital, the SuperFogeys has always been something you can put your hands on. You should see the stacks and stacks of original art I have. I’m sure Marc has the same.
And yet, for this strip, Marc found it necessary to use a bit of digital linework in some key places. To his credit, you can’t really tell unless you know what to look for. The integration is essentially seamless. Marc, as I have said before, is the man.
Speaking of Marc, don’t forget about that handy donation button below the strip. The ads on the site keep the internet motors running, but Marc’s sole compensation for all the hard work he does comes directly from you. Every little bit helps. Thanks!
I read the title in the narrator voice from the old Super Friends cartoon. It was just so natural to do so. I also love how Swifty’s slippers stay on no matter the speed. Ha!
Nice! That’s the voice I was hearing, too.
This is a fantastic scene, just fantastic. Not only do we see Swifty back in action but we get to see Michelle Masters, reminding us of Zurida’s last visit and how that turned out.
Yes, and it was not good. I’m everything will be all sunshine and roses this time out though.
Fat lot of good that will do you Swifty. I don’t think there’s anyone competent there anymore. Good effort though, nice to see you caring again.
I just realized the bonus: Swifty unleashing crankiness upon those dunderheads!
Oh yes. That is most definitely coming.
The sight of all those downward facing dogs will throw his attackers’ aim off.
