I confess that I took the inspiration for The Sunway from Ed Wood’s “classic” film Plan 9 From Outer Space. We need to be careful how we tap into the power of sunlight. If we could do with it what we’ve been able to do with the atom… well, that’s when we become too dangerous. Ā The aliens will come to raise our dead as an army against us. You have now been forewarned. Watch out for crashing cars offscreen.

Plan 9, such a great flick. I watched the original Plan 9 From Outerspace when I was younger, then watched Ed Wood with Johnny Depp in my teenage years. Plan 9 is so bad it’s good.
You cannot remake “Plan 9.” If it’s good in any way, it won’t be “Plan 9.” Also, after the last “Origins” story, it occurs to me that the good Doctor might actually have a key secreted on his person …
