This is a good example of how profitable collaboration can be. As scripted, this was going to be one shot of Spy Gal emerging from the casino to see the panorama above. One panel. Marc came back at me with a sketch showing Spy Gal removing bobby pins from her hair and then an inset panel with her hair falling down and holding the pins. I loved it. I just had one tweak and asked him to draw her flicking the pins away in the inset. He pulled it off in fine style and the only thing we lost by having the inset was a bit of business with Bingo Knight and the Duchess of Keno. No biggie.

Of course, then Marc colored it up and added smoke and fire and all this stuff that just made it sing. Marc excels at mass destruction. Scary.
