THE ANNOTATED SUPERFOGEYS 265

Been a while since we heard from Tangerine, so here’s a little primer, with links:

• After coming to Valhalla, Big T wasted no time in killing the shape-shifter Herman, then disguised as the villain Dr. Rocket.

• Now incarcerated in a the Valhalla dungeon, he was visited by Captain Spectacular and told him something verrrrry interesting about someone at Valhalla.

• Later, he was visited by two of his sons. One of them, Captain Emo, gave his father a collection of books to read.

• With nothing else to do, Tangerine has been spending a lot of time reading.

Now you’re all caught up! Congratulations. You win nothing.

MONSTERPLEX RETURNS NEXT WEEK!

By Monday of next week, the rights to my Zuda-winning/Zuda-dumped comic Monsterplex will be back in my hands. There are 10 mostly completed pages that never saw the light of day. Starting Monday, we’ll be posting all 18 pages of Monsterplex on the Monsterplex Blog as a small way to reward all of you who supported us. Hope to see you there!

NEW TH3RD WORLD WEBCOMIC!

Today, Th3rd World launches a new webcomic called Holiday Wars by friend of the Fogeys, Scott King, and artists Michael Odom, Arturo Said and Giuseppe Pica.

I love the premise of this comic, which involves each holiday being embodied by a physical entity and the girl who is caught in the middle of their struggle. It’s a fun, ongoing webcomic that you can get in on the ground floor with.

Holiday Wars launches with the first 33 strips/pages being available right now. I know the entire HW team has been working hard on this one for a while and have a buffer of about a year (as opposed to me who has no buffer whatsoever), so you’re guaranteed that your investment will be rewarded.

Give it a shot right here!

NEXT WEEK:

Tuesday sees the debut of an all-new origin–Spy Gal’s Secret Mission with art by Cory Thomas!

Then, on Thursday, Tangerine has a few words to say about the Holy Bible. C’mon. You know you want to see that.
