Commentary

This strip hearkens back to something set up in Star Maiden’s WebSpace page, namely that she was a webcam girl. I had a lot of fun with the second panel in trying to make Star look both sexy and deranged.  The drool pretty much sold it.

Swifty’s feeling at the end of this strip pretty much reflected my own while writing.  “Ogle” is such a strange word.  It doesn’t sound at all like what it really means and if you say it enough it becomes more of a sound effect than a word.

Of course, the real point of this strip was to set up the shift in the Spy Gal/Captain Spectacular relationship that’s coming.

EMERGENCY ROOM
Yesterday was not a good day for me. My wife rushed me the ER at about 5am and I didn’t leave until about 4pm. Something to do with acid reflux. It was the most intense stomach pain of my life. I’m doing much better now but…holy crud. I’d rather not do that again.

The thing that really sucks is that I lost a day to work! Aargh. And I was doing so well there for a while…
