I had a TON of fun with this episode.  Webcomics can, at times, be a bit of a grind.  That schedule, even at just twice a week, can be killer.  A visually interesting episode like this where I get to play with depth of field and extreme reactions is just a blast.
I had only a vague idea of what the Captain and Dr. Rocket were talking about in those last two panels when I wrote it.  I’ve since fleshed that idea out completely and the full story of “Budapest ’68” appears as the 11-page story “Cellmates” in the third SuperFogeys book, drawn by Chip Skelton, a fellow member of Tall Tale Features (a cartoonists’ collective I’m a part of that also includes Th3rd World’s Mike “Pinkerton” Witmer).
