WELCOME TO SUPERFOGEYS ORIGINS, JASON SIGLER!

Today begins a brand new Origins tale with art by Jason Sigler. Jason is the co-host of the the Digital Stripspodcast and also the artist of the supremely fun and funny Digital Strip Adventures.

Jason has been a friend of the Fogeys for a long time now and I’m super pleased to have him illustrate the first Swifty Origins tale. He came up with the fantastic design for Swifty’s 70’s threads as you see above. But just you wait. There’s a giant creature coming in on page 2 that’s one of my very favorite things ever in the Fogeys universe.

SWIFTY’S FIRST SOLO TALE!

A lot of you have been waiting for a Swifty origin for a long time. Partly for that reason and partly to play off of things that will be revealed in the upcoming Chapter 9 of SF, I wanted to go against expectations and choose an origin tale that comes a bit later in Swifty’s life.

Even so, I think you’ll find a lot to enjoy in this tale that speaks to Swifty’s larger tale and origins. I’ll get around to telling those other stories eventually, but for now please enjoy this one. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. At all.  Can’t wait to read the new theories that are gonna crop up!
