THE JOURNEY OF JERRY

I’ve mentioned it before, but the origin of Jerry is currently in production. I know it’s something you guys have been anticipating ever since it was revealed that Jerry is both Dr. Klein and the Third Man. I do think the wait will be worth it. The artist working on it, John Jett, has a style that has a real classic feel to it and I’ve got a feeling you’re gonna like how he approaches the decades-spanning tale.

One of the challenges of writing an origin like Jerry’s is making sure everything fits into the continuity already established. I don’t use charts or timelines (though I probably should), so I have to be careful about these things. If you’ll allow me to tease that origin a bit, I can tell you that you’ll see the scene depicted last week’s and today’s strip from a different point of view. I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun when you see how this chapter impacted young Jerry’s life.

Watch for the Origin of Jerry in April. Soon!

I AM TIRED AND I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP

I’m exhausted and I hope you’ll all forgive me for the brevity of posts and my lack of responses lately. I’m a light sleeper in the first place and with a new baby in the house I’m getting even less. Even with afternoon naps. So…let’s tease next week.

NEXT WEEK:

On Tuesday, Spy Gal and Friends find out exactly what C.O.W. stands for. Trust me, it ain’t “Fat Star Maiden.”

Then, on Thursday, we return to the Captain Spectaculars and the Dr. Rockets in the hospital. Why the crud are they there anyway?
