Not that you can exactly tell here, but Tangerine is sitting in a Valhalla jail cell. He’s been bad, you see.

Earlier in this chapter, his sons came to visit him. One of them, Captain Emo, left him with some books to read. Good thing he’s got such good reading material.

NEW MUSIC TO CHECK OUT NOW

This week I happened upon a new band that I really, really like–Future of Forestry. I don’t if it’s just one guy or a full band, but they’ve got one of the most fully formed sounds I’ve come across in a while. Kind of a Folk Radiohead with great melodies.

Anyways, it’s not often I use this forum to tout music I listen to, so if your interest is piqued, give ’em a shot over at their website where you can listen to every one of their songs in its entirety. Try the “Travel Two” EP first. That’s my favorite. choice tracks: Set Your Sails and Slow Your Breath Down.

GUEST STRIPPIN’ XMAS UPDATE

I received another guest strip yesterday for Guest Strippin’ Xmas! This time, I got an amazing story from a previously uknown SF reader who went the extra mile and did a two-page SuperFogeys Origin story featuring the Pink Shade, Captain Spectacular and Swifty. Way, way more than I was even hoping for!

STAR TREK BLURAY UPDATE

Well, Erin and I were not able to steal a couple hours for me to introduce her to Star Trek via the new J.J. Abrams movie. Looks like it’s gonna be this weekend.

Got a look at some of the special features though. Wow. They did not just throw this thing together. Some of the best, most well-thought out special features for a movie I’ve ever seen. And I’m waaaaaay past even caring about such things.
