I’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes that I regretted so deeply I didn’t know if I’d ever deserve good things again. In those moments I try to remember that we are not the sum total of our mistakes. They may overwhelm our memory, but they don’t have to overwhelm who we are. Each of us is worthy of forgiveness and, more importantly, forgiving ourselves. That’s what I think, anyway.
But that doesn’t make it easy.
JUSTICE LEAGUE
Hey, how was everybody’s weekend? Anybody see Justice League? I have… thoughts. Basically: good attempt at a course correction for the DCEU, but… not a great film. A decent film with good moments that is hopefully a good reset. Nice to see Superman back on screen for the first time in a long, long time, that’s for sure.
