Swifty is back! It’s actually been awhile since he was in the same time and dimension as the other Fogeys, believe it or not. He only briefly returned after the one year time jump, but then shuttled off to Earth-Avalon almost immediately. He was great fun over there, but I’ve missed having the guy around in his proper place.
But that’s not actually the most noteworthy thing to happen in this strip. I won’t say what IS the most noteworthy thing, but I have a hunch that future readers will look back on this strip and appreciate its significance a lot more than you guys can at the moment.

I see something pretty significant — Cap’s wearing pants!
That is General Will the alt Cap counterpart. And I think we’ve always seen him with pants on… maybe that’s why he’s always so uptight, could loosen that belt a notch or two.
Our Cap has had pants for a while now, at least while Dr. Rocket tortured him, he just didn’t have a shirt. Now he’s fighting Alt Thrice Evil and fully clothed, with ass-kicking boots too! Question is, is Cap getting serious when the pants are on or when they come off?
President Reed’s face is priceless.
General Will and alt Spy Gal just look so judgey; they are not the people I’d want to work with or “save me” from whatever they think I need saving from.
