When the art came in from Marc on this one, I laughed out loud. The look on Starbrighter’s face is just so perfect. And to go from biting his ankle to shooting him with this megaton gun… that’s everything you need to know about this little girl villains. It’s wonderful.

THE NEXT SIX WEEKS…

So, I’m doing a thing in the next six weeks that I’m hoping doesn’t upset things around her too much, but also might throw a slight wrench in the works from time-to-time.

I can’t remember how much of my personal life I’ve revealed on here, but suffice it to say I haven’t worked a regular job in two years, and neither has my wife. We both lost our jobs within 24 hours of each other in August of 2014 and have been course correcting ever since. She went back to school to get her Master’s in Communication and will wrap that up this coming Spring, and I joined up with Tremendum Pictures to make movies and other cool filmic stuff (like the short film I wrote and directed this year–not available for the public yet, but I’ll let you know if that changes). We’re on the indie side of things at Tremendum so money is tight, but our first feature film, THE GALLOWS, came out last year through Blumhouse Films and New Line Cinema.

ANYWAY, we roll film on our second feature next week. I’m an active participant in all aspects of production (though I am neither writing nor directing) and for the next six weeks my life will be pretty much consumed by making a very, very cool supernatural thriller. All that said, it is not my intention to short shrift SuperFogeys. Updates will still be a regular thing and I don’t have any planned breaks in the schedule coming up.

All I’m really saying here is that it’s possible the strip will be an hour or two late (maybe a little more) now and again until the end of November. If that happens, don’t worry! It just means I’m tied up and will be back on track soon.

Everybody cool with that? Cool.

See you next week with 705 – “Adults are So Boring!”
