Well, I asked Marc to draw a really big vault… he drew a really big vault! Love the touch of it having to be opened by Captain Spectacular. Awesome. (To be clear: I didn’t write that detail. I’m not complimenting myself!)
CATCHING UP WITH CAMI
Some of you may remember that the character of Cami from 216 – “Cami” was based on my daughter at 3-years-old. She’s 10 now and over the weekend on Patreon I posted an update on her with some short video. If you’d like to see it, it’s available for viewing by everyone right over there.
See you on Wednesday with 665 – “All Out of Coffee and Goats”
It’s pretty bad when the person who’s been out of the game for 30 years has a better grasp of the Jerry situation than anyone else. Why that is, I’m not sure, but I’m guessing it’s for some damn good reasons.
You’d have to go back to a flashback sequence in Chapter 5 to understand where Michelle is coming from. Jerry out Captain Spectacular’s secret identity in the early 70’s. She’s not his biggest fan.
That’s admittedly a very good reason to dislike Jerry. Despite all the crap he had to put up with with Cap, that Cap had forgiven him for that shows just nice of a guy he is. That or holding a grudge is just too much work for him.
Wow, Michelle is really hitting the point home. This strips summons up where everyone stands so far with Jerry, at least where our main stars are concern.
Yes, that’s pretty much exactly what’s going on here. And they’re pretty different views at that!
Oh, Spy Gal! I knew you couldn’t really be all head over heels for Jerry.
Michelle steals the show in this strip, Spy Gal’s definitely got the most portentous line.
Yeah, it was hard for me to imagine that anyone would think Spy Gal could forgive Jerry for what he did, but this strip finally makes it clear what she’s been up to all this time.
