Now I’m just curious as to what Star Maiden was doing in the past year. Did losing her father driver her back to her Valhalla state or has she just been evilly brooding.?

Interesting expression on Dark Maiden, she looks almost sad watching the two of them.
I love his phrase, “I’m not much good in a fight like THIS.”
Does he mean he’s not good in the type of fights coming, that protecting CS will be the kind of fight he’s not good at or that he has to hold back in a ‘lesser’ form or something? English can be a lovely language at times.
Also, in regards to Dark Maiden … I think what we’re seeing now is a person who is neither her old Valhalla self nor her “brain washed” self. It’s just a gut feeling she’s slowly breaking out of a mold and finding out who SHE is. The end result will be someone with aspects of both sides, but also something new. Can’t provide proof, but its a feeling that is what they have planned for her.
You guys are all asking the right questions about Dark Maiden. We’ll get some answers on all of this. Not right away… but the next chapter will prove interesting.
