Oh wait…so Cap and the guy we just saw in the previous little arc aren’t the same guy?!
This is cap from the original universe, the other, know as General Will, is from the alternate universe, the same one the Money Man in this strip is from. But Money Man is right now in the original universe, where Zurida took over the united states and the Captain is captured. Hope I cleared it up and didn’t just add to the confusion xD
You got it! May be a little confusing right now, but my hope is that this chapter does the job of making it clear.
I’m telling you, it all makes complete sense in my head, but explaining it is really hard xD
That explains how the Money Man even showed up in the first place…he’s not the “original” universe Money Man? Got it.
So this is like a version of DC crisis comics between two different earths, right ?
Interesting….very interesting.
We just have to hope that Zurida and Thrice Evil don’t join forces against the heroes and make everything even worse!
Which they probably will!
It is what Zurida has been hoping for, at least: http://superfogeys.com/2013/06/10/511-zuridas-plan/
Good memory!
@Bryan and Marcus
Yup. There be the 5 finger verse and the 4 finger verse.
You got it! That show you tell them apart.
Portalmaker = Jerry?
If that’s the case, then Jerry might be capable of much more than we’ve seen so far. Pretty cool if it’s true.
I think so too. Maybe his powers in Avalon are different or he used them more openly and improved on them.
Cool theory.
Since Jerry can make doors between rooms that are beside each other, 2 parallel dimensions might be close enough to each other for that to work.
Does Moneyman still have his powers if the economy has changed?
Well we know he learned to fight on Earth Avalon!
That’s true! Also, you know he’s got cash stashed all over the place. He’s a smart guy.
Zurida’s torture chamber, huh? Some of those marks on Cap look suspiciously like hickies to me.
Shhh. Don’t tell Dr. Rocket.
This seems to clinches it. Moneyman really did die back then, and its been his alternate double this whole time.
