Gotta make this one fast because as I type this it’s Mother’s Day. Hope all of you gave your mom/wife/woman-in-your-life her due.
This is our first look at Valhalla post-one year jump. It’s… looked better.
See you on Wednesday!

Aw man, why did (looks at tags) General Grandstand and the Killer Limeys turn evil. Or did they?
With names like that I guess they were villains back in the day.
They worked for the US of A. Which is now the US of Z. So… depending on your point of view… they’ve gone from good guys to bad guys.
Supercommunity-members who “worked for the US of A” translate to “government-paid mercenaries”, moreso than villains or vigilantes. At least to my mind.
Really, that’s how they’ll act. The only thing that’ll separate a government-paid supercommunity member, from being a government-employed mercenary, is their *reasons* for working for the government.
Do they do the gov’s work because they believe in the government? Or do they do it because they believe in whatever incentives the government is offering in exchange for their service?
Imagining that the USA is rather different(at least in face value) from the USZ…I’d be inclined to say (without knowing one way or the other) that General Grandstand and his Killer Limeys like to be on whichever side is *winning*, or rather, whichever side has already won.
Or perhaps after they believe in the results the USZ provides, more than they believed in the ideology of the USA.
Alternatively, they may have taken a viewpoint similar to Swifty, and said “We’re too old to live out our last years in a perpetual state of conflict”, and the USZ said to the resistance as a whole, “If you’d like, you can live in our borders, be granted amnesty, have the job of your preference…All you have to do is embrace Zurida, and accept it as she embraces you in kind”
Or I’m sure there’s some other option that I’m missing.
Sounds more like a rock band than a supervillain group.
Among their works are the ever popular “Can’t Stop City Hall”, and the #1 hit of the 70’s, “Blame it on the Beatnik”.
Time for Swifty to use his usual speed and snappy wit to get out of this one.
Plus, I wonder how Swiftyy will take the news of the invasion of Earth and how he failed to stop it from happening ?
Old man in bathrobe and slippers. Unless Zurida has some severe policy for sealing with the elderly, Swifty can talk his way out of this one.
Of course, one of her enforcers is wearing a top hat, so crazy government programs may be the norm here.
Well, he was asking about [DATA RESTRICTED], which is well about the clearance level of any ordinary old man, because of [DATA RESTRICTED], so I think even if he were just an ordinary old fogey in a bathrobe, he’d be in trouble.
Swifty needs to live up to his name right now.
However, I get the feeling it may not be needed…
I’m going to assume the Killer Limeys are playing the long game to return America to its rightful status as a British possession.
Hey, make a line! Columbus and the spaniards found America first!
And before them the Vikings! And before them the people now known as native Americans!
