I’m looking forward to the discussion today. The past several weeks you guys have really dug into the themes of SF and shown your love for the characters by how closely you pay attention. Like you, my favorite parts of SF are the character moments and Marc and I work hard to put lots of nuggets of detail to be found by those who care to look. Those details are almost always rooted in character. In a plot this crazy, that’s always, always, always the anchor.

Is Dictator Tot a kid or just shaped like one? She doesn’t appear to have aged appreciably.
Dictator Tot’s exact nature has not been revealed, but everything indicates she’s just a kid.
What ever happened to Sam’s wife? From what I remember they liked each other.

It’s probably pretty debatable how much love there really was between Sam and his wife. We don’t know what happened to her. Or to his son.
Weird situation. From what I would have read out of the strip with the touching-issue, I would assume that Spy Gal was not too appalled by Sam’s approach. On the other hand, her marriage with Jerry might be a strategical necessity that she does not want to risk.
After all, Jerries power is incredibly valuable when mobility and or espionage is needed.
Thinking about it, that sounds more plausible to me than her truly falling in love with Jerry.
It’s a great theory and will be directly addressed in a future chapter. Maybe the next one. Lots more to this ‘love triangle’ to come.
Well, she certainly liked him once. There’s got to be something residual from that too.
Poor Spy girl, unlucky in love, especially when you consider her previous romantic situations. š
And poor Sam too, I mean he turned out to be a great guy in is series that any gir would want to have.
That makes me question,will we see Spy Girl’s kids again in this time jump ?
Great question. No plans currently to see Spy Gal’s kids, but certainly they’re a concern of hers so it would make sense to at least address their status at some point.

Yeah, right – that marriage that was a complete con-job from start to finish with a lunatic who has no idea what real love is. That marriage that could be annulled in a Las Vegas second because it was done under false pretenses.

That’s what’s on record. As to what happened between Tangerine getting his leg shot off and now? Who knows? I’d like to think that Jerry is being manipulated for the greater good and that she doesn’t really love him. I already nearly yacked watching Rocket and Zudrida making out, seeing Spygal getting kissyface with the man who basically emotionally raped her would be a bit much. But – it’s not my story. š
well, I think that many things and theories were posted when the event happened. What I like more about today’s is the background action with Terrible & Dictator Tot (btw, how did she end with the good guys?)
The background action was all Marc (I didn’t script anything except that it would be nice to see some other characters in the background). I thought it was great. Looking forward to seeing all the walls blue.
