The important thing to remember with this one is that the heroes are all standing by watching this whole exchange go down. This is where webcomics can get a little frustrating because it’s easy to forget stuff like that when 5 days pass between updates. But, yes, all of this is happening while everyone is standing on the Guthrie. If it feels like things are coming to a head then that’s about right.
I just realized I COMPLETELY neglected to write up a formal post about this year’s Guest Strippin’ Xmas last week. I’ve been slaving away on notes for the next chapter–the most extensive I’ve ever had to write in the history of the SuperFogeys–and it just got forgotten. Hopefully some of you are already working on your submissions. This is one of my favorite times of year and I can’t wait to see you strut your stuff!
It glows just like the real thing…
So Zurida was distracted by a shiny object.
It happens to the best of us. And the worst, apparently.
I had to bookmark this one and add it to my folder of favorite strips. The question is whether Dark Maiden kills him first or if Zurida does it for calling her “idiot woman”. Either way, I think Pilatius has outlived his usefulness to his cohorts. I’m honestly not certain why they’ve kept him around this long. It must be his charming personality. Outstanding job on both the writing and the art. You and Marc should both be particularly proud of this one. Bezuel’s dialogue is absolutely hilarious.
You have a folder of favorite strips? That’s awesome! We’re happy to be in such rarified company. (I admit I kind of really like this one as well. It came together better than I expected.)
You have to admit, Pilatius has waited and planned for a long time to get revenge for the massacre of his people. Then as the final insult, these are the people he has to work with. It’d drive anyone over the edge.
Yeah, I’m pretty much on Pilatius’ side here. Even though he wants to kill me.
