I may have overextended a bit with this one. For those of you keeping track at home, there’s 7 characters in panel 2. You artists out there know that the more characters you add to a panel, the longer that panel takes. I kind of put Marc to work on this one since panels 1 and 3 are no walks in the park either. But he’s a pro, so there you go.
In case you’ve forgotten, Zurida has plans for the Guthrie that the other aliens are unaware of.
“Come to the Guthrie,” a phrase that strike fear in the hearts of aliens everyhere.
And, I have to add, that’s not the greatest posse Zurida has with her, but they somehow manage to pull off the group pose.
Marc made that panel sing.
Panel two is impressive, I like how Percy is mirroring the Cap in his arms crossed “We-are-not-amused” stance.
I didn’t even notice that until you pointed it out. Nice!
Cool, a friends and family gathering just in time for the holidays.
Heather’s got it. This is a HAPPY occasion.
When I read panel three all I could think was, “Step into my parlor said the spider to the fly.” Any time Zurida looks that pleased with herself I think one should be very, very worried. Marc did another outstanding job.
Agreed. And that’s the perfect quote to represent this strip.
