Yeah, right? What did happen to Star Maiden? Last we saw her, she was getting the heck out of Dodge. Now, where could she have gotten off to?
Be back here next week for the big 400th SuperFogeys episode! The 100th, 200th and 300th episodes were all big freakin’ deals around here. I don’t see that streak ending anytime soon…
What is it like being the parent of a nonverbal child? If you a fan of The SuperFogeys, you’re probably a fan of my daughter, Cami. See my latest post on her right here!
He raises a valid point.
The deterioration of Sam’s hat is symbolic, methinks. Also, Star Maiden is the harbinger of death. No wait…or was that someone else…?
Next episode’s title: Surprise, Star Maiden is the Bad Guy!
Tyler, we should start a band called Kara Thrace and Her Special Destiny.
Bitter man is even bitterer.
Poor Sam I just want to hug him and tell him he’s a hero to me.
And then slap Swifty for being a jerk to him. But he does have a point about Star.
Odds on when we’ll find out?
I’m thinking you’re going to hold onto that nugget a little bit more but it will be soon.
I knew it. Swifty’s just grumpy because Star Maiden left. Grumpier than normal that is.
But the real question is, did Gene make it back safely from Vegas or did his “niece” turn him in?
Speaking of getting back from Vegas, How did they get back? Did nobody question where their plane went?
@gnrrrg — How they got back is unimportant and would distract from the main story. Jerry probably played good guy and got them tickets home — given that nobody is saying “Hey, remember that horrible bus ride back from Vegas?” I’m assuming he got them decent flight tickets.
Heh, airport security’s worst nightmare:
Random Super: I’m taking this little bottle of water with me.
Security: I’m sorry sir but…
Random Super: Let me remind you: I’m bullet-proof, shock-proof, super strong, could kill your entire security force — or worse — AND hijack the plane AND get away with it AND I will do it every day for the next five years just to spite you. Or you could let me take the bottle of water on the plane.
Dr. Rocket: My boy! š
OOops! Forgot the punchline to my rant!!
Security: YOU CAN FLY!! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!
Yes. You see, on the plane he can have a blanket, but if he flies, he has to put his pants back on š
@Scott – Part of my point was, their plane was the giant robot. Doc Rocket and Jerry are the only ones who know this, so the others ought to be wondering where the plane went.
You guys are correct, it is a bit of a plot hole, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the hole won’t be filled…
It’s not necessarily a plot hole, but only because it’s not hard to imagine that they could have easily have had dozens of options of getting back home, given that Jerry would have made a back up plan knowing that the robot would be defeated (I think he purposely had Doc program it to disintegrate so it could not be traced back to the plane and thus back to Dr. Klein, AKA himself, as well). Also, even if he had overlooked this fine (more like whopping huge) detail, Cap would have had the funds available after hitting the jack pot to score them a ride back. Had even that not occurred, it’s not unfeasible to imagine that they did indeed pay bus fare on a Greyhound or etc for a cross-country trip.
What would have happened I wonder though if one of the Fogeys called back home to Valhalla to tell Dr. Klein about the mess that was going on and their extreme need of a ride back home only to find out that Nurse Carter and the other residents can’t place where he’s at because he’s mysteriously taken a week off work? Think anyone would get suspicious? ha ha… probably not… lol
yea i have been wondering where star maiden went. and what about that alien ship that is close to earth? maybe it has something to do with exposure to that blue crystal that caused her to go rogue?
Sorry, Swifty. Star Maiden revealed her true nature as a baving ritch, cruelly stomped on you and went off to commit genocide on her home planet. “Real hero?” Sadly, at this point Sam is more hero than your lost heart-throb.
It sucks.
I wish to know who is/was in the “Closed to this Dimension” wing, please.
