Welcome to SuperFogeys Origins, Alex Deligiannis! I can’t tell you how excited I am about this one. Alex is a busy guy and that he found the time to work on this story is something I’m extremely grateful for. It’s a short one–concludes next week–but it’s well worth it. Plus, I finally got to fulfill my daughter’s request and bring back Dictator Tot! Yes!
You can see more of Alex’s work over at his site, Crush County. You will drool.
Alex’s bio: Sometimes better known as Big Toon, Alex works as an artist in animation and comics. His credits include Nickelodeon’s Fairly Odd Parents, TUFF Puppy, and the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Occasionally, he also designs album art for Snoop Dogg’s group, Tha Dogg Pound. He’s a neat freak, a Ninja Turtle fanatic, and a lover of anchovies. It’s all very glamorous, but his favorite thing is being a husband and a daddy.
This is pretty well exactly how I imagined it happened.
Wait until you see page 2.
Did we just become best friends?? 😀
This is awesome. Love the intro with the characters, and the art is fantastic. Just the fact that Gene introduced her to Ozzy Osbourne now makes Gene the coolest guy on the planet. Rock on Dictator Tot…Rock on!!
Who else wants to see Suckface in a larger story? Anyone?
Well… Seeing an alternate earth and alternate set of Fogeys being sucked into his gaping maw would be interesting, I suppose… lawls
This page looks sooooooooooo cool. And I love the Donatello doll and the ladybug lamp. Though, why is the toilet inside the tree? Seems a little exposed. Don’t know that I would enjoy that.
Have you ever seen the inside a prison, Tyler? That toilet is practically private. Most of the time, it’s just out in the open in the cell.
Dang but you can see his artistic pedigree!!
No foolin’, right? Alex has the stuff.
Dictator Tot has good taste in turtles….
I can’t wait for the new TMNT series! 😀
Awesome art!!!
Also, seeing Donatello the Turtle, Tuff Puppy, and … Teddy Ruxpin dolls?
Thanks you guys, so glad you dig it! (Good eyes on catching the Teddy Ruxpin, too, CartoonistWill).
[…] posted an art process blog at his site for the gorgeous two page story he drew up for me, When Dictator Tot Met Gene. If you’re like me, you’re a junkie for this sort of thing. Here’s a […]
