Annnnnd… WE’RE BACK! Thanks to everyone who celebrated the 5th Anniversary with us. It was great fun seeing everyone’s takes on the different chapters. Plus, Marc got a nice little break. He’s now rested and relaxed and kicking serious butt. I’d put him up against a giant killer robot any day of the week! Marc did a great thing in the first panel by making it through a news camera lens. Does a good job of recapping where we were when we last left Spy Gal and Jerry two and a half weeks ago. Great lighting effects in this one, too. This Chapter is about to seriously spiral out of control. Hold on.

Gotta admire that helicopter lighting in the second panel. Just pure genius.
Marc’s lighting effects impress every time. I’m such a dope when it comes to that stuff.
If this doesn’t bring you back to the action, then I don’t know what does. I also love the guy screaming in the first panel with the emphasis on “Die!”
It’s full-on robot time from here to the end of the chapter. Will someone actually die? Hmm…
The story has started back up with smashing results. Loved the Anniversary submissions.

Brilliant use of angles, from the realistic ‘helicopter cam’ in the first panel, the atmospheric perspective in panel 2 (love the slight fade, it makes the robot seem bigger by being further away) and the intense 3rd panel. Three home-runs in one strip!
The perspective on panel 2 is just AWESOME.
