When Chip handed in this page, I didn’t know what to think. I mean… that’s a lot of blood. A LOT of blood. But the page is well designed that it doesn’t feel gruesome to me. Just sad. Incredibly, incredibly sad. It’s not funny when bunnies bleed.
REMINDER! The SuperFogeys 5th Anniversary is next week. If you’d like to turn in a short prose piece or fan art to join in and possibly win some amazing prizes (original SF art from me, custom sketch from Marc, and a cameo role in an upcoming strip), then please get your entry to me at bwhheasley (at) gmail (dot) com. No later than Tuesday. If you’re an artist who signed up to do a chapter recap…I need those on the same day. Thanks!
This is probably the bloodiest SF page to date. And it’s about a rabbit.
You know what, though? Harvey deserves the attention. Hardly anyone ever notices him…
It’s true. What’s his secret agenda?
Bank robbin’ Harvey looks so happy. Dr. Rocket may claim to have taught him to be evil, but I think Harvey always had a little nasty streak.
Could be. He did seem quite willing to leave the pet store.
Am I the only one that’s amused by the fact that Harvey’s in remarkably good shape for being hit by a TRUCK? And that’s a LOT of blood for one little bunny.
Artist license (though I too think I’m stretching it a bit far…).
I can’t help but feel like calling this strip “Bloody Benjamins”.
Waaaaaaaaa!!! š
Yeah, there’s a lot of blood. But I really like this piece. It is sad. It’s also quite artistic.
