This is the episode that almost never was. My original plan was to go from strip 26 to the last strip of Chapter 1–what is now strip 28. However, I realized fairly late in the game that I hadn’t really done anything to set up WHY CS and Spy Gal would get back together. I mean, sure, I had established that they had a prior relationship, buy what would draw them back together? I’ll admit that 27 doesn’t offer a very compelling reason–it basically comes down to Spy Gal thinking the Captain is pretty cool–but it works in the world of the SuperFogeys.
