WHAT IS A HERO?
The question put to Soviet Sam in today’s strip is a good one. I’ve seen it debated on talk shows and in chat rooms. In the pages of comics and on reality television shows. I’ve seen it applied liberally enough to include an actor who makes millions of dollars off of their “brave” performance, and the young child who does nothing more than dial a telephone number give correct information to the paramedics. I’ve seen some define it so stringently that only those who put their own lives at risk can even hope to be classified as such. But, really, what is a hero?
Last week, Soviet Sam gave us his definition of a villain. What do you think of today’s definition? Sound off in the comments below. Love to hear your thoughts.

Whatever the answer, it is not something that can be decided by one person, and it is not a constant in any sense of the word.
