What’s sadder than a guy who can run really fast that’s stuck behind a walker? The answer is nothing, my friends, nothing. That’s what makes Swifty so much fun–we all know exactly why he’s so bitter and grumpy and you just can’t blame the guy.

For Swifty’s design, I couldn’t make him look too much like the Flash.  This has caused some people to comment on the “horns” on top of his head.  They’re not.  They’re wings.  What are you gonna do?

Sometimes I do little drawings during church to entertain my daughter and keep her quiet.  Swifty was created during one of these little impromptu art sessions, which is why he looks so much like Gordon B. Hinckley (President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, of which I am a member).  I was just trying to think of a unique face, and he fit the bill.
