Dr. Klein spells things out a little more today and for those of you who need to know, here’s where you’ve seen these scenes before:
Panel 2 – SF 144 – “Jerry Wakes Up” (Which also features a little clue that almost no one picked up on.)
Panel 3 – SF 175 – “My Pleasure” (Still the record holder for the most comments ever on a single strip…I think. 200 and 273 were pretty big deals too.)
Monday’s strip stirred up a lot of insightful comments and some debate. I look forward to what you guys have to say about today’s. For now, I’ll just say this: Marc KILLED it in the last panel.
IF A CONTEST IS HELD AND NO ONE ENTERS…DOES IT HAVE A WINNER?
Well, that happened. It’s been 5 days and no one has bothered to drag a friend over to the SF website to try to win one of John Jett’s stellar sketch cards. See this link for the full details on this botched contest.
Don’t rightly know what to make of this. Usually, the contests we do here have pretty good participation, but either the prize isn’t something you guys particularly care for (which is crazy) or you consider the effort of bringing people over here to be too much. Either way, it makes me sad. I try to change things up with the contests and not make them the same thing all the time…but clearly I went wrong somewhere on this one. Feel free to enlighten me in the comments below.
In any case, it would be a shame to see these sketch cards go to waste. So,unless some entries come in between now and when the new SFO page posts on Friday, I’m gonna reconfigure the contest rules entirely and turn it into a trivia contest instead. Sound good?
