Valhalla is a big place and there’s only so much room from week-to-week to show you all its denizens. But, sometimes, the right story comes along and we get to see some of the characters who make up the fringe. You already saw a hint of Raptor X in SF 444, but in Chapter 15 we’ll get to see a little more of him. Marc is one of the very best character designers out there and his design for a YOUNG Raptor X must be seen:
Raptor X is a former marine who, after being accidentally transported back in time to prehistory when a military experiment went wrong, was exposed to “Evolutionary Mists” that mixed his DNA with that of the Dinosaurs! You’ll see more of his older incarnation soon.

This looks awesome. Some fans hate new characters but I love as many as I can get. Can’t wait to see what you do with him.
Thanks, Nick! While our main cast is still our main cast, we’re looking forward to spotlighting some new people now and then. The scope of the new Invasion story really demands it.
