My wife surprised me with a ticket to Captain America Saturday night (she’s so cool) and I have to say I had a TON of fun with it. Lots of great winks and nods and a great, truly American story at the heart of it. Loved the Red Skull, the incorporation of ideas from across Cap’s comic book history, and the shocking feel of the ending. It’s not a perfect movie. I had issues with some of the transitions and the way some big moments were handled, but overall I highly recommend it. I’m so amped for The Avengers next year!
